About the owner

Hi, I’m Ryan Louise!

I’ve been gardening professionally for about a decade and have two certificates in Permaculture Design. I grew up here and hold a B.S. in environmental science from EWU. My experience working with plants is broad, ranging from residential garden and design projects to vegetable farming to sensitive plant surveys to seed collection and native plant propagation.

I have a passion for restoring our local plant communities, and I believe that our own yards are the perfect place to begin. Stewardship on a small scale can have a massive impact- not only on the ecosystem, but on us. Together, we can cultivate spaces that we love to be in, that inspire us to be more connected to the land and our community.
